Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Steel Modeler (SDS2) to join our structural steel team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in creating accurate 3D structural steel models using SDS2 for commercial, industrial, and miscellaneous steel projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain accurate 3D structural steel models using SDS2 .
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Model structural steel members, connections, miscellaneous steel, and embeds.
- Coordinate with detailers, checkers, and project engineers.
- Update models based on design revisions and RFIs.
- Ensure models comply with project specifications and AISC standards.




- Identify and resolve modeling issues before detailing.
- Deliver high-quality models within project timelines.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with SDS2 Steel Modeling (mandatory).
- Solid understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
- Ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of AISC standards.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Steel Modeler using SDS2.
