Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the Operation Theatre for scheduled and emergency surgeries.

- Verify patient identity, consent forms, investigation reports, and pre-operative checklist.

- Prepare and position patients safely for surgery.

- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures as a Scrub Nurse or Circulating Nurse.

- Ensure all surgical instruments, implants, and consumables are available and sterile.

- Perform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts before, during, and after surgery.

- Monitor patients throughout the surgical procedure and promptly report any abnormalities.

- Maintain strict aseptic technique and infection prevention practices.

- Operate and check OT equipment before and after procedures.

- Coordinate with CSSD for sterilization and availability of surgical instruments.





- Transfer patients safely to the recovery room/ICU/ward with proper handover.

- Maintain OT records, nursing documentation, surgical registers, and checklists.

- Dispose of biomedical waste as per Biomedical Waste Management Rules.

- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the OT for the next procedure.

- Participate in emergency surgeries and code blue situations.

- Follow NABH standards, hospital policies, and patient safety protocols.

- Participate in OT audits, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives.

- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing

Pay: From ₹17,000.00 per month
