- Design and review analogue and digital circuits, including signal conditioning, power regulation,
- ADC/DAC interfaces, and control logic.
- Develop hardware platforms based on microcontrollers and microprocessors.
- Design robust hardware suitable for industrial environments (EMI/EMC, isolation, grounding, protection).
- Hands-on experience designing systems using 32-bit microcontrollers from vendors such as STMicroelectronics, NXP, Texas Instruments, or equivalent.
- Experience with microprocessor-based designs, including processors such as i.MX8 and i.MX9 families or similar application processors.
- Positive understanding of high-speed interfaces, such as Ethernet, USB, LVDS, high-speed memory, and display or camera interfaces (as applicable).
- Apply basic signal integrity and power integrity concepts during schematic and layout reviews.
- Lead PCB bring-up, debugging,
and validation of microcontroller and microprocessor boards.
- Oversee prototype assembly, integration, and laboratory testing.
- Work closely with Firmware and Mechanical engineering teams, as well as test engineer(s), to ensure successful HW-SW integration and product delivery.
- Drive hardware updates, enhancements, and cost-reduction initiatives for existing products.
- Create and maintain high-quality engineering documentation, design specifications, and test reports.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
