Minimum Qualification

Customs Operations & Duty Optimization

- Oversee end-to-end import/export clearances, ensuring strict adherence to HS classification, Valuation, and Rules of Origin to minimize disputes and SCNs.

- Identify and execute duty-saving opportunities through FTA perks and exemption schemes (AA, EPCG, DTA, SEZ, EOU, MOOWR).

- CHA operations, managing daily coordination, rate contracts, deferred duty management, and reconciliation.

- Drive the standardization of Project Import processes (including Bond/BG closures) and reduce demurrage/detention costs through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventive controls.

- Maintain the EXIM Import Compendium (HSN database, notifications) and ensure valid status for IEC, AEO Tier, and Status Holder certifications.

- Lead the closure of internal and external audit observations.

- Standardize SOPs for deemed export benefits.

- Maintain a repository of SCNs,



demand notices, and judicial cases to ensure quick reference and resolution.

- Interface with Customs, DGFT, CHA partners, and statutory agencies.

- Timely closure of AA/EPCG obligations (EODC) and reduction in contingent liabilities.

- Year-over-year reduction in demurrage and detention costs.

- Closing Customs Audit observations and SCNs.

- Maintain the EXIM Import Compendium (HSN database, notifications) and ensure valid status for IEC, AEO Tier, and Status Holder certifications.

- Maintain a repository of SCNs, demand notices, and judicial cases to ensure quick reference and resolution.

- Utilize analytics for real-time alerts, SLA adherence monitoring, and ageing analysis to enhance decision-making.
