Job Purpose

Support the permits and licensing team in obtaining, renewing, and maintaining statutory licenses and regulatory approvals for Tata Starbucks stores. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and government authorities to ensure timely compliance and smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Support end-to-end licensing activities for new and existing stores.

- Coordinate the application, renewal, and tracking of statutory licenses such as FSSAI, Shops & Establishment, Health Trade, Fire NOC, Signage, and other applicable approvals.

- Maintain records of licenses, renewals, and compliance documentation.

- Follow up with government departments, municipal authorities, consultants, and internal stakeholders for timely approvals.

- Assist in preparing documentation required for new store openings and license renewals.

- Track license expiry dates and ensure timely renewals to avoid business disruptions.

- Support inspections, audits, and regulatory visits by maintaining required documentation.

- Monitor and update licensing trackers, MIS reports, and compliance dashboards.

- Coordinate with Business Development, Legal, Projects, Operations,



and Finance teams on licensing requirements.

- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve licensing processes and documentation.

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

- 12 years of experience in permits & licensing, legal compliance, statutory approvals, or regulatory coordination.

- Experience in Retail, QSR, Hospitality, Real Estate, or FMCG will be preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Basic understanding of statutory licenses and regulatory compliance.

- Good coordination and follow-up skills with government authorities and consultants.

- Strong documentation and record-management skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within timelines.

- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills.

- Willingness to travel locally for licensing-related work, if required.
