We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our Engineering team and help design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

Position Summary The Senior Java Developer will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade healthcare applications. This individual will collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software while mentoring junior developers and contributing to architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.

- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
- Ensure applications comply with security, privacy, and regulatory standards applicable to healthcare systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile processes.

Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,



or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 7+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong expertise with Java 11+ (Java 17 preferred).
- Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
- Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies.
- Experience building healthcare applications, including knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with React or Angular is a plus.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
