Position Overview: The Sr. Executive - General Ops. Mgmt. Security is responsible for implementing and monitoring all physical and shipment security operations at the Corporate Office, ensuring strict adherence to security protocols, fire safety measures, and SOPs.
The role involves overseeing day-to-day security activities, coordinating with contracted staff, monitoring surveillance systems, and supporting emergency preparedness initiatives to safeguard people, premises, and assets while maintaining a safe, compliant, and secure environment.
Job Purpose:
To ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of security and fire safety measures in the Corporate Office, thereby safeguarding employees, assets, and shipments while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Roles & Responsibilities: Physical & Shipment Security Implement all defined physical and shipment security activities as per SOPs and guidelines.
Monitor CCTV footage, security registers, and asset/vehicular movement to detect suspicious or fraudulent activity.
Ensure timely closure of security-related cases such as thefts, pilferages, or damages. Fire Safety & Emergency Preparedness Support procurement, installation, and maintenance of fire safety equipment in the Corporate Office.
Conduct regular fire drills, emergency response trainings, and awareness sessions for employees.
Monitor fire safety parameters continuously and coordinate emergency response services with contracted agencies.
Security
Infrastructure & Maintenance Oversee maintenance of all security and surveillance equipment through contracted agencies.
Ensure timely servicing, functioning, and upkeep of security-related systems and tools.
Maintain accurate registers and documentation for security and safety compliance. Coordination & Supervision Supervise contracted security staff and ensure adherence to company security protocols.
Support pre-employment verification checks for hired security personnel.
Review daily night-round reports and monitor ongoing night security operations. Training & Awareness Provide security-related training and on-the-job guidance to contracted staff.
Communicate safety measures effectively across employees to build awareness and readiness during emergencies.
Qualifications & Experience: Education Graduate in any discipline.
Experience Essential: 1 – 3 years of experience in corporate security, fire safety, or shipment security operations, preferably in logistics, aviation, or corporate office environments.
Preferred: Understanding of SOPs, regulatory compliance in security operations, and coordination with external agencies/vendors would be a plus.
Skills & Capabilities: Technical Skills Knowledge of physical security systems, access controls, and CCTV monitoring
Familiarity with fire safety equipment, drills, and emergency response procedures
Ability to maintain and update security registers, documentation, and compliance records
Experience in coordinating with external security agencies and vendors
Basic understanding of investigation techniques for incidents such as thefts or pilferages Behavioural Competencies Alertness and robust attention to detail
