Role & Responsibilities

- Design, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines using Snowflake as the core data warehouse and dbt for transformation logic.

- Implement data modeling best practices (star schema, Kimball, Data Vault) and ensure pipeline quality with unit/integration tests.

- Orchestrate workflows via Airflow or similar tools to automate ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.

- Collaborate with analytics engineers and data scientists to define business logic, metrics, and data contracts.

- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and enforce data lineage and governance standards.

- Document data models, pipeline architecture,



and deployment runbooks to ensure team scalability and knowledge sharing.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

- Snowflake
- dbt (data build tool)

- SQL (complex queries, CTEs, window functions)

- Python (for scripting, automation, and UDFs)

- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

- Airflow or Prefect

- CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

- Data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling)

Preferred

- Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code

- Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana)

- Exposure to data governance frameworks (e.g., Great Expectations, Monte Carlo)
