- Lead project discovery and define phase of high impact Lean Six Sigma projects (DMAIC, DFSS, Kaizen, FMEA, etc.).
- Partner with FGBS business teams and identify opportunities related to cost saving/ Revenue leakage.
- Manage a portfolio of improvement projects, including auditing of transitioned projects to ensure that process improvements are sustained and perks are realized.
- Represent Finance ACES in local and global meetings/conference calls and with network-wide projects.
- Works closely with Finance Global Business Services and Corporate partners (Legal, HR, Facilities, Safety, IT, Customer Service) to secure support and resources for savings opportunities in their area.
- Develop internal network to find areas that can be explored further to identify improvement opportunities/projects.
- Develop quantitative and qualitative process maps to describe how various people and teams within a business are involved in a process.
- Objectively evaluate process workflows to understand the current state.
- Conduct data mining to conclude if there is a defect in the area due to which Amazon might lose millions of dollars.
- Read and transform organizational data to evaluate process details, prioritize fixes, and continually track workflows.
- Discover and assess automation initiatives, regulatory compliance and other critical business decisions.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
