Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester with solid Python skills to validate complex data pipelines and ensure endtoend data quality across enterprise data platforms. The role combines traditional ETL testing with Pythonbased automation to support scalable, repeatable, and efficient data validation.

Role & responsibilities

- Validate ETL and data pipeline processes from source systems to target data warehouses/lakes.
- Perform data completeness, accuracy, transformation, and reconciliation testing.
- Develop Python scripts to automate data validation, comparisons, and reconciliation checks.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate large datasets.

- Perform testing on

- Fact and dimension tables
- SCD (Type 1 & Type 2) implementations
- Aggregations, calculations, and business rules
- Build reusable Pythonbased data quality frameworks.
- Validate batch and incremental data loads.
- Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.




- Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and status reporting.
- Support regression testing for ETL changes and enhancements.
