We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SQL development, query optimization, and PostgreSQL database management. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, procedural SQL development, performance tuning, and data migration activities.
Experience with PostgreSQL, pgAdmin, and AI-assisted SQL query generation is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries for enterprise applications.
- Write efficient DDL, DML, and complex SQL queries using joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and views.
- Develop and maintain Stored Procedures and Functions in PostgreSQL.
- Analyze and optimize query performance for large-scale databases.
- Perform database design enhancements and indexing strategies.
- Support data migration, data loading, and import/export activities.
- Import and process Excel/CSV data into PostgreSQL databases.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and optimize SQL performance.
- Collaborate with application development and business teams to deliver high-quality database solutions.
- Leverage AI tools to generate, optimize, and validate SQL queries for improved productivity.
- Experience using AI tools for SQL query generation and optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SQL Development.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and pgAdmin.
- Extensive experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with Stored Procedures and Functions in PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Experience with data migration and database import/export processes.
- Experience importing Excel/CSV data into PostgreSQL tables.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
