Job Title: SQL Developer

Location: Onsite Hyderabad, India

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

- Analyze, design, and implement indexing strategies across key database tables.
- Optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for performance and scalability.
- Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
- Monitor database health using tools like SQL Server Profiler, Extended Events, Query Store, and third-party performance monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with application developers to review data access patterns and improve ORM efficiency (e.g., Entity Framework).
- Conduct regular performance tuning reviews and provide recommendations.
- Design and implement database maintenance plans (backups, indexing, statistics updates, etc.).
- Develop and maintain documentation related to database design and optimization strategies.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and availability in production environments.
- 5+ years of experience in SQL Server (2016+ preferred) with a strong focus on performance tuning and optimization.
- Strong understanding of database indexing, normalization, and denormalization strategies.
- Experience in optimizing large and complex stored procedures and SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools for SQL Server performance.




- Familiarity with .NET-based applications and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
- Experience in scaling SaaS applications is a solid plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with Azure SQL Database or other cloud-based databases.
- Exposure to NoSQL or hybrid database architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices related to DB changes.

- Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in SQL Server (2016+ preferred) with a robust focus on performance tuning and optimization.

Strong understanding of database indexing, normalization, and denormalization strategies.

Experience in optimizing large and complex stored procedures and SQL queries.

Hands-on experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools for SQL Server performance.

Familiarity with .NET-based applications and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
