- Install, configure, and maintain SQL/MySQL databases.

- Monitor database health, including storage, indexing, fragmentation, and performance.

- Perform regular backups, restores, and disaster recovery (DR) planning.

- Analyse and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing to improve performance.

- Investigate and resolve deadlocks, blocking, and connection issues.

- Troubleshoot and Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for database performance issues.

- Monitor CPU, memory, disk I/O, and query execution plans to identify bottlenecks.

- Engage with users, identify their challenges, and deliver effective solutions.

- Configure SQL Server Profiler, Extended Events, and Performance Monitor for troubleshooting.

- Develop PowerShell/Python scripts or SQL Server Agent Jobs for automating routine tasks.
