Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. The team member will support customers in-store by understanding their needs, recommending appropriate sports products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Daily responsibilities may include merchandising and replenishing stock, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the store is clean, safe, and welcoming.

The role involves collaborating with teammates, participating in local sport events or activations, and sharing product and sport knowledge with customers.



The team member will also follow operational procedures and contribute to sales targets while embodying Decathlon’s values and commitment to inclusion and sustainability.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to actively listen, explain products clearly, and build trust with diverse customers.
- Teamwork and collaboration abilities, including working effectively with colleagues, supporting shared goals, and contributing to a positive store culture.
- Interest in sports and fitness, with the motivation to learn about Decathlon’s products and help others discover and enjoy different sports.
- Basic organizational and problem-solving skills to manage tasks, prioritize activities during busy periods, and follow store processes accurately.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment, including flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
- Commitment to inclusivity, safety, and responsible practices, aligning with Decathlon’s values and environmental and social responsibilities.
- Previous experience in retail, customer-facing roles, or sports coaching is an advantage but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, sports management, or related fields is beneficial.
