Role Description This is a full-time, in office Speech Therapist role based in Chanakyapuri.
The Speech
Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among personnel, and may also work with individuals experiencing swallowing difficulties (dysphagia). Daily responsibilities include conducting clinical evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, delivering one-on-one and group interventions, and monitoring progress with clear documentation. The role involves collaborating with medical officers and other healthcare professionals, providing counseling and education to clients and families, and maintaining accurate health records in line with institutional guidelines.
The Speech
Therapist will also participate in case reviews, contribute to health awareness initiatives, and support readiness and rehabilitation programs as needed.
Qualifications Strong foundational skills in Speech Therapy, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Ability to work with a range of speech and communication disorders, including articulation and fluency issues.
Experience managing language disorders, such as receptive and expressive language difficulties.
Competence in evaluating and treating dysphagia and related swallowing disorders.
Relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent, with appropriate national registration or licensure.
Experience in clinical or hospital-based settings; exposure to multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
Strong interpersonal, counseling, and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.
Capacity to work in a structured, disciplined environment, maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
Proficiency in using basic clinical software and tools for record-keeping and reporting.
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training initiatives.
