We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient qualified to lead sourcing and vendor development activities for the Machining Category in our automotive components division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers for machined components, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance while aligning with company goals and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing:

- Identify and develop new suppliers for precision machined components (e.g., shafts, gears, housings, brackets).
- Conduct cost benchmarking and market analysis to achieve cost competitiveness.
- Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, analyze quotations, and negotiate with suppliers.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies specific to machined parts based on business needs, volumes,



and risk.
- Ensure supply continuity and alternate sourcing to mitigate supply chain risks.

Vendor Development:

- Evaluate and onboard new vendors based on technical, commercial, and financial parameters.
- Conduct supplier audits (technical, quality, and capacity assessments).
- Support vendors in process development, capability improvement, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams for PPAP/APQP processes and first article approval.
- Drive supplier performance management through KPIs quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
