Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architectural design, modernization, and containerization of core applications and integration platforms. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the migration strategy away from legacy Oracle middleware platforms toward open-source, cloud-native architectures.

The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in Spring-based frameworks, OpenShift/Kubernetes orchestration, integration patterns, and robust DevSecOps practices. You will be responsible for defining

High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs/LLDs), designing secure on-premises container environments, and guiding engineering teams through complex technical transformations in compliance with strict regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategy: Lead architectural design, modernization, and containerization strategies for applications and integration ecosystems.

Legacy Modernization:



Spearhead migration initiatives moving workloads from legacy Oracle middleware and content management systems to open-source, cloud-native platforms.

Integration & Network Design: Architect scalable integration solutions utilizing messaging platforms,

service meshes, and robust network layer patterns.

OpenShift & Kubernetes Leadership: Design and optimize OpenShift cluster architectures, deployment strategies (Operators, GitOps), and cluster administration patterns.

Security & DevSecOps: Embed security practices into core architecture, establishing secure patterns for on-premises container environments and automating security within CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Governance: Author comprehensive High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs

(LLDs), establish architectural standards, and mentor engineering teams throughout implementation.

Observability & Storage: Architect observability strategies for monitoring, logging, and tracing, while supporting large-scale data migrations to S3-compatible storage solutions.

Required Skills & Experience CORE APPLICATION & INTEGRATION FRAMEWORKS Deep technical expertise in building microservices and batch processing applications using Spring Boot and Spring Batch. Solid mastery of Apache Camel, JMS, and messaging platforms (specifically ActiveMQ).



Hands-on experience executing complex migrations from legacy Oracle middleware and content management systems.

CONTAINERIZATION, ORCHESTRATION & SERVICE MESH Advanced expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration via Kubernetes. Extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, including cluster architecture & administration,

deployment strategies (DeploymentConfigs, Operators, GitOps), OpenShift Service Mesh, OpenShift

Pipelines, and OpenShift GitOps. Strong familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio).

INFRASTRUCTURE, SECURITY & DEVSECOPS Solid background in Integration Architecture and Network Layer Design. Hands-on expertise with DevSecOps and security automation within CI/CD pipelines. Practical experience designing security architectures specifically tailored for on-premises container environments. Working knowledge of S3-compatible storage solutions and executing large-scale data migrations.

OBSERVABILITY & DESIGN LEADERSHIP Proficiency with observability and telemetry stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace. Proven track record leading architectural decision-making, drafting detailed HLDs/LLDs, and guiding technical delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications Certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift / Application Architecture, Certified Kubernetes

Administrator/Application Developer (CKA/CKAD), or recognized Cloud & DevSecOps certifications.

API Management: Hands-on experience with API gateways such as Apigee, Kong, or WSO2.

Domain Experience: Background working within highly regulated industries (e.g., Finance, Healthcare,

Government) subject to strict security, audit, and compliance requirements.
