Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer at TrackBeat.

The Software

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and cloud-based systems that collect, process, and analyze sensor data at scale. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing APIs, optimizing data pipelines, improving system reliability, and collaborating with data science, hardware, and product teams to deliver robust features.



The role also involves writing clean, testable code, reviewing peer contributions, monitoring production systems, and contributing to architecture decisions that support high-performance industrial monitoring.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-grade systems.
- Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs and working with databases.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and distributed systems is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with data processing, streaming, or IoT-related architectures is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
