This role develops, operates, and improves production software systems while ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence. The engineer contributes throughout the software development lifecycle, from application development and deployment automation to monitoring, observability, incident response, and continuous improvement while partnering with platform, infrastructure, security, and product engineering teams.

Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, automation tools, and operational platforms.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Develop infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-as-Code.
Support deployment, monitoring, observability, and operational readiness.
Implement logging, alerting, dashboards, and operational metrics.
Support operational readiness and reliability of AI integration services, API platforms, and MCP-enabled workloads.
Improve platform reliability, scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Contribute to automated testing, release management, and deployment automation.
Support Kubernetes-based cloud-native workloads. What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4-5 years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages.
Experience developing APIs, services, automation tools, or cloud-native applications.
Experience with CI/CD, source control, automated testing, and software development lifecycle practices.
Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and operational tooling.
Experience operating applications in public cloud environments.
Experience collaborating with distributed Agile engineering teams.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and incident response skills.
Ability to contribute to reliability and operational improvement initiatives.
Must Have
Skills
Python, Java, or a similar programming language
Backend services, APIs, and cloud-native application development
CI/CD, source control, and automated testing
Monitoring, observability, and operational tooling
Public cloud operations and incident response Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.
Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Familiarity with SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
Experience supporting AI-enabled services or LLM platforms.
Experience building internal operational platforms.
Experience supporting AI platform services, API gateways, MCP integrations, agent-based architectures, or enterprise integration platforms.
