Digi Krishi is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in JavaScript, React, Node.js and cloud deployment. The developer will work on an agriculture technology platform consisting of a Farmer App, Agent App, Admin Portal and web-based dashboards.

You will be responsible for developing new features, resolving existing technical issues, managing backend services and databases, and supporting the deployment and maintenance of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and deploy end-to-end applications using JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js and contemporary frameworks.

Build and maintain the Digi Krishi Farmer App, Agent App, Admin Portal and web dashboards.

Develop secure backend services, APIs and database integrations.

Work with PostgreSQL, SQL or NoSQL databases and maintain data accuracy and system performance.

Improve application speed, responsiveness and scalability through caching, code splitting, lazy loading and query optimization.

Manage deployments, GitHub repositories, CI/CD workflows, monitoring and cloud infrastructure.

Work with AWS services and ensure applications are deployed securely and reliably.

Debug and resolve issues across frontend, backend, database and deployment environments.

Test applications before deployment and ensure features work correctly across devices.

Collaborate with the product and field operations teams to convert agricultural and operational requirements into technical features.

Maintain proper technical documentation for repositories, APIs, databases, deployments and system configurations.

Review existing code and improve its structure, security and maintainability.

Take ownership of assigned features from requirement understanding to development, testing and deployment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar development role.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Node.js and Express.js.





Experience building and integrating REST APIs.

Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

Strong understanding of Git and GitHub workflows.

Basic understanding of cloud deployment, DevOps and CI/CD workflows.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Ability to understand and work with an existing codebase.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned modules.

Ability to work from the Guwahati office and coordinate with the local product and operations team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with React Native or mobile application development.

Experience with AWS, Vercel, Railway or similar cloud platforms.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and application security.

Experience managing production databases and deployments.

Understanding of UI/UX principles and component libraries such as Shadcn.

Experience building startup, SaaS, agriculture technology or field operations platforms.

Experience working with location data, GIS, KYC systems, document uploads or field data collection applications.

Exposure to AI integrations and API cost or token optimization.
