Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for .Net Developer role. Software Developer writes, debugs, executes and maintains the source code for software applications. Typically works under the direction of a Lead Developer.

Reponsibilities:

- Designs and develops new functionality and enhances existing products/solutions following core principles, practices, architectural and security standards
- Writes well designed, high-quality, well-tested and clean code following SOLID principles
- Actively involves and contributes in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including troubleshooting and fixing problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
- Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
- Provides accurate effort estimations, supports the development of user requirements, testing plans and deployments
- Conducts code reviews and advocates for technical excellence while being open to change when needed

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Computer Science or Software Engineering degree

Knowledge, skills and experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience of design and development of full-stack .NET web applications (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Web API) written in C#.
- Hands-on commercial experience with one or more client-side frameworks such as Angular, AngularJS, Vue or React
- Proven working experience with Relational Databases, SQL and Entity Framework
- Solid understanding of design patterns, Object-Oriented programming and asynchronous programming, including message queues, promises and observables
- Robust Analytical and Problem-solving skills
- Comfortability with Agile methods,



such as Scrum / Kanban
- Hands-on experience of writing unit and integrations tests using a mocking framework
- Proven track record of full life-cycle development, including requirement gathering and analysis, design, implementation, deployment, testing and maintenance with strong problem-solving skills
- Working experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and familiarity with version control with Git
- WPF knowledge is preferred
