About the Role

Advantal Technologies is looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer – Java to join our development team in Delhi. The ideal candidate should have robust experience in Java and Spring Boot, with exposure to microservices-based application development and modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
- Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues through effective log analysis.
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Integrate messaging systems such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, or equivalent technologies.
- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) for source code management.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Support CI/CD processes and contribute to software deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology.
- Minimum 70% marks or CGPA 7.0/10 from a reputed institution.

Required Skills

- Solid proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Good understanding of:
- Microservices architecture
- Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
- Design patterns
- PostgreSQL/MySQL databases
- Kafka, ActiveMQ, or similar messaging systems
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Experience in debugging and log analysis.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with UML and software quality practices.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
