18 Oct 2024 About The Position We are currently seeking a Technical Product Manager to join us at Södra Cell. In this role, your main focus will be to work with our customers with technical issues and possibilities, giving them best advice on how to use our products. You will also serve as a vital link between our pulp production and our customers, while also supporting our internal sales teams and production units.
With your technical expertise and dedication to excellent service, you will help create the conditions for profitable business for us and our customers. , In our team we have our base in ensuring that we deliver top-tier customer service while upholding the highest standards of business ethics. In addition to working closely with customers, you will act as a technical resource in sales processes, helping to develop solutions in an industry undergoing significant transformation due to evolving sustainability requirements and shifting market demands. Your focus will be on ensuring customer satisfaction while offering internal technical insights and product information.
Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of paper and pulp manufacturing, or a related industry, who is passionate about providing first-class customer service. As a Technical Product Manager, you will work independently, where creativity and initiative are highly valued, and you will be a key player in both internal and external contexts.
You contain a engineering education or something we find equivalent to it.
Key Competencies
Experience in paper manufacturing, with additional knowledge of pulp manufacturing being a plus
Strong technical understanding relevant to the role
Excellent customer service skills
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Valid driver’s license
Experience with administrative tasks and handling technical information
Ability to work independently and take initiative What it’s like to work at Södra At Södra, we foster a work workplace built on openness, honesty, and cooperation. You will be part of a Technical Customer Service team, which includes a manager and five colleagues, three of whom have similar roles and two working as Sustainability Information Managers.
The team is today divided between Värö and Mörrum,.
We hold physical meetings in the team at least four times a year, with regular weekly digital meetings via Teams. Södra is a Swedish based company and it is important to be able to communicate with the Swedish colleagues as well as with customers all over the world. As part of this role, you will be actively involved in the ongoing changes within our product portfolio and customer offerings.
The paper industry is facing both declining demand for certain products and current sustainability challenges, which means we constantly need to adapt. You will play an essential role in ensuring we meet these challenges efficiently. Practical information The location for this position is flexible within Södra Cell, with options including Växjö, Värö, Mörrum, or Mönsterås, with a preference for Mönsterås.
