Position: Senior Process Engineer – Injection Moulding

Location: Cochin, Kerala

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Polymer, Production, or Plastics Engineering

Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on experience in injection moulding process engineering within a manufacturing workplace.

Experience in automotive or precision plastics manufacturing is preferred

Salary: 10 LPA

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to develop and improve injection moulding processes to achieve quality, productivity, and cost targets.

The role involves supporting new product launches, solving production issues, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize injection moulding processes.
Support current product introduction (NPI) and mould trials.
Troubleshoot moulding defects and improve production efficiency.
Reduce scrap, improve cycle time,



and increase OEE.
bPrepare process documents such as PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, and validation reports.
Lead continuous improvement activities using Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
Support PPAP, APQP, audits, and customer requirements.
Work closely with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Planning teams.
Train operators and technicians on process standards.
Follow EHS, ISO, IATF 16949, and 5S requirements.

Requirements:
Positive knowledge of scientific moulding, process validation, PPAP, PFMEA, and root cause analysis.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and OEE improvement.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Creo, ERP systems (SAP/QAD/Oracle), and MS Office.
