Job Description Production Planning & Control

/n /n Develop and implement production plans aligned with sales forecasts and project orders for drilling rigs, assemblies, and accessories.
/n Coordinate closely with Engineering, Design, and Shopfloor teams (Machining, Fabrication, Assembly) to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

/n Monitor production schedules to avoid bottlenecks and ensure adherence to dispatch commitments.

/n /n Supply Chain & Procurement Management

/n /n Manage sourcing and procurement of high-value components such as hydraulic systems, drilling tools, fabricated structures, and imported parts.
/n Strengthen vendor base and negotiate commercial terms for cost optimization.

/n Ensure timely issuance and monitoring of MR, Indent, PO, GRN, QC clearance, and reconciliation processes.

/n /n Inventory & Material Flow Management

/n /n Optimize inventory levels for raw materials, WIP, and finished drilling equipment to reduce carrying cost without affecting production.
/n Monitor stock movement, aging analysis, and reconciliation of materials.

/n Ensure structured control of spare parts and critical long-lead imported items.





/n /n Logistics & Distribution
/n /n Oversee inbound logistics for domestic and imported materials.
/n Manage outbound dispatch of drilling equipment and accessories to project sites.

/n Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for inter-state movement, export documentation, and regulatory norms.

/n /n ERP & Process Digitization
/n /n Ensure accurate documentation and workflow management through ERP / SAP systems.
/n Drive data-driven decision making using ERP dashboards and advanced Excel tools.

/n Improve reporting systems for inventory, production performance, and supply chain KPIs.

/n /n Risk & Continuity Planning
/n /n Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, especially for imported and long lead-time components.

/n Mitigate risks related to vendor dependency and raw material price volatility.

/n /n Team Leadership & Coordination
/n /n Lead procurement, stores, logistics, and planning teams.
/n Build a performance-driven culture focused on accountability and operational excellence.
