Meraki Labs is a fast-growing team focused on building products and experiences with craft and heart. We're looking for a creative, internet-savvy intern to help us grow our voice and presence across social platforms.

About The Role

As our Social Media Marketing Intern, you'll work closely with the marketing team to plan, create, and publish content that grows our community and brand awareness. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who's curious about brand building, loves spotting trends before they blow up, and wants real experience shaping a company's online presence.

What You'll Do

- Assist in planning and executing the social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)

- Draft, design, and schedule posts, stories, and short-form videos

- Monitor trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to identify content opportunities

- Engage with our community — respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, on-brand way

- Track and report on key metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) and share insights

- Support influencer/partner outreach and collaboration efforts

- Help brainstorm campaigns for product launches, events,



and brand moments

- Collaborate with design, product, and content teams to ensure consistent messaging

What We're Looking For

- Recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field

- Genuine interest in social media, digital culture, and content creation

- Strong written communication skills with an eye for tone and voice.

- Familiarity with major social platforms and their best practices (organic content, not just personal use)

- Basic design skills (Canva, Figma, or similar) and/or short-form video editing (CapCut, Premiere Rush, etc.) is a plus

- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks/deadlines
- A portfolio, personal social account, or examples of content you've created is a big plus
