Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Manager role based in New Delhi.

The Social Media

Manager will plan, create, and publish daily content on platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp, aligned with StartupNews.fyi’s focus on startup-related news.

Responsibilities include managing content calendars, writing engaging captions and short-form copy, optimizing posts for reach and engagement, and monitoring trends in the startup and tech ecosystem. The role involves analyzing performance metrics, refining social media strategies, coordinating with editorial or content teams, and interacting with the community through comments, messages, and collaborations.

Timings : 10 AM - 6:30 PM Salary : 4 - 5 LPA Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) for audience growth and engagement.

Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy and Writing to create explicit, concise, and compelling startup-focused content.

Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and engage with the online community.

Experience managing social media accounts for news, media, or startup-focused brands is beneficial.

Ability to analyze social media metrics and use insights to improve content and campaigns.

Familiarity with Instagram, WhatsApp, and other major social platforms, including tools for scheduling and analytics.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, newsroom-style environment.

A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
