Blue Ocean Digital Media is hiring: Social Media Manager (Mumbai-based)

- We’re looking for a sharp, creative, and performance-driven Social Media Manager to lead content and strategy across our client portfolio. This is a Mumbai-based role (work from office), ideal for someone who’s passionate about brand storytelling, digital trends, and results.

Location: Ghatkopar, Mumbai

Job Type: Full-time - Work from office

Experience: 2–4 years (preferably in an agency environment)

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute platform-specific strategies across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Identify content opportunities through competitive research, trend analysis, and platform insights
- Source creative references and collaborate with design and content teams to bring ideas to life
- Build and maintain content calendars, posting schedules, and engagement plans for multiple brands
- Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and identify whitespace for brand differentiation
- Monitor, analyze, and report performance metrics to drive data-backed decisions
- Lead ideation for monthly campaigns, engagement activities,



and influencer collaborations
- Stay updated with platform algorithm changes, new features, and emerging content formats

What We’re Looking For

- 1–3 years of experience managing social media accounts for brands (agency experience preferred)
- Robust understanding of Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, and LinkedIn analytics
- A natural sense of content – what performs, what trends, and how to engage different audiences
- Confident communicator with the ability to write briefs, captions, and content hooks
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
