Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SOC DV Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The SOC DV Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing verification strategies for complex SoC designs, including testbench development, test case creation, and coverage closure.

Daily tasks include writing and reviewing verification plans, implementing and debugging SystemVerilog/UVM-based environments, running regression suites, and analyzing results to identify and resolve design and verification issues. The role involves close collaboration with design, architecture, and firmware teams to ensure functional correctness, performance, and reliability of the SoC. The engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of verification methodologies,



documentation, and best practices, while supporting tape-out readiness and post-silicon validation activities as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong SoC verification expertise, including experience with verification planning, testbench architecture, stimulus generation, and coverage-driven verification.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM or similar verification methodologies, along with practical skills in simulation, debugging, and regression management.
- Solid understanding of digital design concepts, including RTL, clocking, resets, buses, and interfaces (e.g., AMBA protocols, high-speed I/O, memory subsystems).
- Experience working with EDA tools for simulation, linting, code coverage, and waveform analysis (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor tools).

- Ability to interpret specifications, create explicit test plans, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in semiconductor product development, IP/SoC verification, or similar roles; exposure to IoT or AI/ML-based systems is an advantage.

- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with a focus on quality, ownership, and continuous learning.
