Role : SRE Engineer

Mandatory skills required for screening :

- Previously held an SRE role in prior experience or employment in any industry.
- Must have Java deployment experience.
- Developer experiences designing and developing Java applications.
- Strong experience with containerization (e.g. Docker), Kubernetes.
- Hands on GCP experience (any of the following architecture/design, operational support, configuration/set-up).
- Logging & Alerting experience : Setting up, configuring, and using data to create dashboards, alerts and able to use data to prevent incidents from happening.

Valuable / Nice to have skills from the candidate :

- Experience with implementing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Helm, Jenkins/GitHub Actions/etc.
- Experience with SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, toil reduction, problem management, blameless postmortems.
- Understanding of Internet concepts, technologies, and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS / SSL, etc.).
- Improve CI/CD pipeline reliability, traceability, including automated testing, observability, dependency management, and security.
- Conduct capacity planning, chaos testing, and reliability reviews.

Relevant experience range :

- 4-5 years as an SRE.
