We execute large industrial projects across Automotive, Engineering, Manufacturing, Warehousing, FMCG, and other industrial sectors.

Role Description

We are looking for a Site Engineer – Fire Fighting Projects to manage and supervise the execution of Fire Protection System installation works at industrial project sites. The candidate should possess sound technical knowledge, robust coordination skills, and the ability to execute projects safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.

The Site Engineer will coordinate with the Project Manager, QA/QC Engineer, Safety Officer, Site Supervisors, subcontractors, and the client's representatives to ensure timely and quality execution of works.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution

Supervise the installation of Fire Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, Fire Pump, and associated piping systems.

Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Monitor daily work progress and achieve planned targets.

Site Coordination

Coordinate with the Project Manager, QA/QC Engineer, Safety Officer, Site Supervisors, and client representatives.

Plan daily work activities and allocate tasks to supervisors, technicians, welders, fitters, and helpers.

Resolve day-to-day site execution issues.

Technical Supervision

Review engineering drawings and identify site constraints.

Ensure proper installation practices and adherence to project specifications.





Coordinate hydrotesting, flushing, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

Material & Resource Management

Plan and monitor material requirements.

Coordinate with Stores and Procurement for timely material availability.

Ensure proper utilization of manpower, tools, machinery, and equipment.

Quality Assurance

Ensure work is executed in compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.

Coordinate inspections with the QA/QC team.

Rectify observations raised during inspections.

Safety Compliance

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with site safety procedures.

Coordinate with the Safety Officer to enforce PPE usage, permit-to-work requirements, and safe work practices.

Promote a strong safety culture among the workforce.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).

Maintain records of manpower, material consumption, and equipment utilization.

Report project progress, delays, and site issues to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred).

1–3 years of experience in Fire Fighting Project execution.

Experience in Industrial Fire Protection Projects is preferred.
