Role Description The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day civil works at active project locations. This role includes supervising construction activities, checking drawings and specifications, ensuring work quality and safety standards, and coordinating with contractors, site staff, and project managers.

The Site Civil

Engineer monitors material usage, supports planning of site resources, prepares basic reports and documentation, and assists with resolving technical issues during execution.



The position also involves liaising with consultants and clients as needed, ensuring that civil engineering designs and plans are effectively implemented on site.

Qualifications

Robust foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.

Experience working as part of Civil Engineers teams on building construction or infrastructure projects.

Competence in project Planning, including scheduling site activities and coordinating resources.

Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related site drainage practices.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.

Practical experience in site supervision, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.

Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

Familiarity with relevant building codes, local regulations, and basic engineering software or tools is an advantage.
