Job Title: Assistant Manager Shift Incharge (Polymer / Acrylic Emulsion)

Location: Bharuch, Gujarat

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Shift Incharge to oversee shift operations in our Polymer (Acrylic Emulsion) manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in polymerization processes, production planning, manpower management, safety compliance, and quality control while ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise all production activities during the assigned shift.
- Ensure safe and productive manufacturing of Acrylic Emulsion products as per production plans.
- Monitor batch processing, process parameters, and product quality.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch teams for uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP, and safety guidelines.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage shift manpower, allocate work, and monitor productivity.
- Prepare daily production reports, shift handover reports, and maintain production records.
- Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials and minimize process losses.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure proper housekeeping across the plant.
- Train and guide operators and technicians on operational and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or M.Sc. Chemistry.
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience

- 6–10 years of experience in Polymer or Acrylic Emulsion manufacturing.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Shift Incharge or supervisory role.

Key Skills

- Acrylic Emulsion and Polymerization process knowledge.
- Production planning and shift management.
- Process troubleshooting and optimization.
- Team leadership and manpower handling.
- Quality systems and documentation.
- Safety compliance and EHS practices.
- SAP/ERP knowledge will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Experience in chemical manufacturing plants.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Local candidates from Bharuch, Ankleshwar, Vadodara, or nearby locations will be preferred.
