Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer (ITOM / ITAM) to design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow solutions with a primary focus on IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, MID Server, workflow automation, and platform customization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions that improve IT operations and asset management.

Key Responsibilities :

ServiceNow Development :

- Configure, develop, and enhance ServiceNow ITOM and ITAM modules.
- Develop and customize platform components, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer.
- Build scalable workflows and automation solutions using ServiceNow best practices.
- Develop reusable components and maintain platform standards.

ITOM &

- Discovery :
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery, MID Server, and Service Mapping.
- Ensure accurate discovery of infrastructure components and dependencies.
- Troubleshoot Discovery and Service Mapping issues to improve operational visibility.
- Support Event Management and Operational Intelligence capabilities where applicable.

ITAM &

- CMDB Management :
- Design and implement asset lifecycle management workflows.
- Enhance CMDB accuracy through data normalization, reconciliation, and governance.
- Maintain configuration items (CIs) and ensure data integrity across the CMDB.
- Support software and hardware asset management processes and automation.

Workflow Automation &

- Integrations :
- Design and implement workflow-driven automation using Flow Designer.




- Develop REST and SOAP API integrations with enterprise applications and third-party tools.
- Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity across business systems.
- Support IntegrationHub and MID Server-based integrations.

Platform Support &

- Optimization :
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ITOM, ITAM, Discovery, CMDB, and Asset Management.
- Participate in platform upgrades, release management, deployments, and post-production support.
- Monitor platform performance and recommend enhancements to improve scalability and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and governance.

Collaboration &

- Agile Delivery :
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Deliver backlog-driven enhancements and support Agile development practices.
- Work closely with CMDB, IT Operations, ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and Integration teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews and sprint planning.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 - 8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Robust experience with ServiceNow ITOM and ITAM modules.
- Hands-on experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, MID Server, CMDB, and Asset Management.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
- Experience developing REST/SOAP integrations and using IntegrationHub.
- Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and CMDB best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
