You will be supporting Application Portfolio Management (APM) activities, maintaining application portfolio data quality in ServiceNow and tracking and reporting technical debt trends; on ongoing APM data maintenance in ServiceNow (APM/CMDB-related records), identifying data gaps and inconsistencies, coordinating updates with application/service owners, and tracking technical debt indicators and remediation progress, and will also help publish and disseminate APM information through an Enterprise Architecture (EA) website (including dashboard-ready views) in collaboration with the onsite team and the Data Architect. You will be responsible for:

Perform ongoing Application Portfolio Management (APM) data maintenance in ServiceNow (e.g., application inventory, ownership, lifecycle status, technology attributes, integrations/dependencies as captured) to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.

Identify data quality issues (missing/invalid values, duplicates, inconsistent classifications) and drive remediation by coordinating with application/service owners and stakeholders.

Maintain and improve portfolio data standards and controlled vocabularies (e.g., lifecycle states, business/technical fit fields, criticality tiers) in alignment with EA guidance.

Run periodic audits/health checks and prepare a regular data quality scorecard (e.g., completeness by mandatory fields, stale records, ownership gaps) for the onsite Enterprise Architect.

Support ongoing alignment of ServiceNow portfolio data with EA artifacts (capability mapping, reference taxonomies) where applicable.

Document operating procedures for portfolio updates, data validation checks, and recurring reporting to ensure consistent execution across cycles.

Track technical debt indicators using ServiceNow portfolio data and agreed EA criteria (e.g., lifecycle risk/obsolescence, unsupported technologies, architectural deviations, resilience/operability gaps as captured).

Maintain a technical debt log (or aligned ServiceNow records) with explicit descriptions, impacted applications/services, severity/priority, and recommended remediation path (retire/replace/modernize).

Produce recurring dashboards and reports for the onsite Enterprise Architect (e.g., top technical debt drivers,

aging debt, remediation progress, portfolio hotspots).

Support analysis for portfolio rationalization and modernization by preparing data extracts, pivot views, and summaries required for EA discussions and decision forums.

Partner with stakeholders to validate technical debt data points and ensure consistent interpretation of debt categories and thresholds.

Escalate critical data gaps or emerging technical debt risks to the onsite Enterprise Architect with recommended follow-ups.

Contribute to continuous improvement of ServiceNow APM/portfolio processes (templates, validation rules, intake checklists) to reduce future technical debt and improve decision quality.

Use AI-enabled tools (where approved) to accelerate analysis of portfolio and technical debt data (e.g., summarization, trend identification, draft narratives for reports/dashboards), while following information security and data handling requirements.

Take inputs from the onsite EA team (content, priorities, publishing cadence) and translate them into updates for the EA website and APM communications materials.

Maintain and support the EA website as the platform to disseminate Application Portfolio Management (APM) data, insights, and portfolio standards (e.g., definitions, lifecycle states, guidance).

Work with the Data Architect to curate, shape, and publish APM results in clear, user-friendly dashboards (visuals, drilldowns, and summary views as agreed).

From time to time, support onsite EA resources with administrative/process tasks to keep EA records current and consistent (e.g., updates to EA artifacts/registries as directed).

Define standards for resiliency, performance, observability, and operational excellence. For this role you will need to have experience in:
