Role Description The Service Engineer Air Compressor is a full-time, on-site role based in India at the OTC Workshop-Service Center.

Responsibilities include installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, and repair of air compressors and related equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment for customers.

The Service

Engineer will prepare service reports, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate with the workshop team and customers to schedule and execute service activities efficiently. The position also includes supporting spare parts identification,



providing technical guidance to customers, and adhering to OTC’s quality and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong technical skills in air compressor servicing, including installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical and pneumatic systems.

Candidates should possess skills in reading technical drawings, using diagnostic tools and measuring instruments, and following manufacturer service manuals and standard operating procedures.

Candidates should possess skills in safety awareness, adherence to workshop safety protocols, and proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials.

Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills to explain technical issues clearly, coordinate with clients, and collaborate with workshop and field teams.

Candidates should possess basic computer and documentation skills for preparing service reports, maintaining records, and using service or inventory management software.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred, along with prior experience in servicing air compressors or similar industrial equipment.

Experience working with international brands in industrial equipment, and familiarity with OEM standards and quality systems, will be considered an added advantage.

Ability to work on-site, handle field assignments when required, and adapt to a fast-paced service setting is essential.
