As Pixenite continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Video Editor with strong editing and motion graphics skills who can produce engaging, high-quality content across a variety of digital platforms. POSITION DETAILS

Position: Senior Video Editor

Location: Remote

Engagement: Full-Time Independent Contractor

Working Hours: 9:00 PM–6:00 AM IST

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years ROLE OVERVIEW The Senior Video Editor will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for multiple brands across a variety of digital and marketing channels. This role requires exceptional storytelling, advanced video editing and motion graphics skills, strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality work within deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

- Edit high-quality videos for branding, marketing, advertising, and digital campaigns.
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Produce reels, promotional videos, commercials, brand stories, testimonials, and other marketing content.
- Collaborate with the marketing, creative, design, and content teams to bring concepts to life.
- Manage the full post-production process, including editing, color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and final delivery.
- Ensure strong storytelling, visual quality, and brand consistency across all video content.
- Adapt videos into multiple formats and aspect ratios for different platforms and campaigns.
- Manage multiple projects, revisions, and deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Organize project files and media assets while maintaining efficient editing workflows.
- Apply feedback, perform quality checks, and deliver polished final outputs.




- Stay up to date with video editing trends, AI tools, and evolving digital platform best practices. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in video editing and post-production.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and other industry-standard editing software.
- Strong expertise in motion graphics, animation, color grading, sound design, transitions, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience using AI-powered creative and video editing tools to improve workflow and productivity.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, video specifications, aspect ratios, and current content trends.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience producing paid advertising creatives for Meta, Google, and YouTube.
- Experience with animation, visual effects, or 3D motion graphics.
- Knowledge of branding, content strategy, and performance marketing.
- Experience editing podcasts, interviews, webinars, and long-form video content.
- Experience creating video content for restaurants, hospitality, travel, tourism, retail, or professional-service businesses. BEFORE YOU APPLY

This is an evaluation period under an independent contractor arrangement and is not an employee probation period.

Initial Evaluation

Period The first six months will be considered an Initial Evaluation Period. Your creative approach, video editing skills, storytelling ability, technical proficiency, workflow efficiency, communication, professionalism, and ability to deliver high-quality content within deadlines will be evaluated.



WORKING HOURS The standard working hours are 9:00 PM–6:00 AM IST, including a one-hour paid meal break.

Working

Days

Monday to Friday, plus the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of each month, wherever applicable.

Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays will be off. Paid Leave

After successfully completing the six-month Initial Evaluation Period, you will accrue one paid leave day for every completed month of continuous engagement, up to 12 paid leave days per calendar year.

Company

Holidays The company currently observes selected holidays, including Makar Sankranti, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, Diwali, and December 31. Holiday schedules may be adjusted according to client commitments and business requirements.

Professional

Fees

Professional fees are paid between the first and fifth day of each month against a valid invoice submitted during the final week of the previous month.

Notice

Period

After completing the Initial Evaluation Period, a 90-day written notice period will apply, subject to the terms of the final Independent Contractor Agreement. Employee statutory advantages such as provident fund, gratuity, employer-provided insurance, pension, maternity or paternity leave, and severance benefits are not included. Equipment and Software The selected contractor must have:

- A professional computer capable of handling advanced editing work
- Reliable high-speed internet
- A dependable power-backup arrangement
- Software and subscriptions
- A secure and professional remote workspace Productivity Monitoring The contractor may be required to use company-approved time-tracking, attendance, and productivity-monitoring software during scheduled working hours. Confidentiality The selected candidate must sign an Independent Contractor Agreement and comply with all confidentiality, intellectual-property, data-security, non-solicitation, and related contractual obligations.
