Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Motor Insurance Test Lead to lead testing activities across Motor Insurance transformation, implementation, enhancement, and regulatory projects. The role requires strong expertise in Motor Insurance business processes, test strategy, test design, test execution management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.

The Test Lead will be responsible for driving quality assurance across end-to-end motor insurance customer journeys, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, defect management, and successful delivery of high-quality solutions. This role builds upon key motor insurance SME responsibilities such as policy lifecycle validation,

underwriting, claims, and premium calculation testing.

Key Responsibilities

Test Leadership & Delivery

 Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects and releases.

 Define test strategy, test approach, entry/exit criteria, and quality gates.

 Manage planning, estimation, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.

 Review and approve test scenarios, test cases, and test execution results.

 Ensure complete coverage across business, functional, integration, and non-

functional requirements.

 Drive defect prevention, defect management, and root cause analysis initiatives.





 Provide testing governance and status reporting to project stakeholders.

Motor Insurance Domain Validation

 Lead validation of business processes covering o Current Business o Quotations

Interna l o Policy Issuance o Renewals o Endorsements o Cancellations o Claims Processing o Underwriting o Premium Calculation o Regulatory Compliance

 Ensure test coverage for end-to-end customer and intermediary journeys.

Preferred Qualifications

 ISTQB Certification

 Insurance Domain Certifications

 Experience in Digital Insurance Transformation Programs

 Experience with Test Automation Initiatives

 Exposure to API and Microservices Testing

 Experience working with global delivery teams
