Compensation: Rs 10 - 15 LPA (Based on experience and skills) Candidate must be based in Mumbai About the Role The Software & AI Engineer will design, develop, and implement software solutions that improve business operations through automation, AI, system integrations, and data-driven applications. Working closely with the senior management team, the role requires end-to-end ownership of projects, right from understanding business requirements to developing, deploying, and maintaining practical software solutions. The role will support both internal business systems and customer-facing products across logistics, automation, and financial technology.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications, APIs, and databases.

Build internal tools and software to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.

Develop AI-powered applications for document processing, data extraction, summarisation, and workflow automation.

Integrate internal systems with third-party applications using REST APIs, webhooks, and Microsoft Graph API.

Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools.

Develop secure authentication, user management, and cloud-based applications.

Build software prototypes and new products from concept to deployment.





Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technology solutions.

Ensure applications are reliable, secure, scalable, and well-documented.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Skills

Solid experience with Python, FastAPI, Node.js, or similar backend technologies.

Experience developing REST APIs and integrating third-party systems.

Proficiency in PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

Experience with cloud deployment, authentication, and software architecture.

Knowledge of AI applications, LLM APIs, workflow automation, and document processing/OCR.

Experience with Microsoft Graph API, Outlook integrations, and data migration.

Exposure to React Native/Expo or modern frontend frameworks is an advantage.
