: Senior Full Stack Developer

Experience Level: 7-8 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with 7-8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications. We are a Node.js-first environment and prefer candidates with strong Vue.js experience for the frontend.

Key Responsibilities

Architect &

- Design: Lead the design and architecture of complex, scalable, and secure web applications and microservices, primarily using the Node.js ecosystem.

Full-Stack Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code for both server-side (Node.js) and client-side (Vue.js) components.

Database Management: Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and queries for both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.

API Development: Develop and maintain robust, versioned RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express, Fastify) to power our web and mobile clients.

Mentorship &

- Leadership: Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence.

CI/CD &

- DevOps: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment, and leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to scale applications.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex performance, security, and scalability issues across the entire technology stack.

Best Practices: Champion and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, (unit, integration, e2e), and documentation.





Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

Experience: 7-8 years of professional experience in full-stack development.

Back-End Proficiency: Strong proficiency and extensive hands-on experience with Node.js and its ecosystem (e.g., Express, Koa, Fastify).

While

Node.js is our core, experience in other languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java) is a plus.

Front-End Expertise: Proven expertise in contemporary JavaScript frameworks. Strong preference for Vue.js.

Experience with other frameworks like React or Angular is also valued. Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6 ).

Database Skills: Extensive experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.

API Design: Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience with API consumption and integration.

Cloud &

- DevOps: Demonstrable experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools.

Testing: Solid understanding of testing (unit, integration, e2e) frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Mocha, Vitest).

Secure Development: Strong understanding of secure coding practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and experience implementing security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns.

Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Experience using AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot or similar.

Proficiency using IDEs like VS Code.
