Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SCADA Engineer with expert-level knowledge of Ignition SCADA to lead the design, development, deployment, and commissioning of plant-wide SCADA solutions. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in Ignition Perspective, Vision, OPC UA, MES integration, PLC connectivity, industrial networking, and IT/OT cybersecurity within manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop SCADA applications using Ignition Perspective and Vision.
- Build and maintain UDTs, tag hierarchies, alarm management systems, historians, and reporting solutions.
- Configure and manage Ignition Gateway architecture, redundancy, security, and high-availability deployments.
- Integrate PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi) with Ignition via OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus TCP, and EtherNet/IP.
- Design PLC-SCADA-MES interfaces and support OEE, KPI, and production reporting.
- Develop OPC UA Information Models, XML NodeSets, telemetry structures, alarms, and equipment hierarchies.
- Develop scripts using Python/Jython, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
- Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning, vendor coordination, documentation, and user training activities.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Automation, Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years of SCADA and Industrial Automation experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on Ignition development experience.
- Ignition Core Certification preferred
