Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior React Developer with strong UI engineering instincts someone who doesn't just implement frontend applications, but takes ownership of how the product looks, feels, and scales at the component level.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture, combined with strong design judgment and comfort operating with minimal design specs. This role requires someone who can work independently, make sound UI/UX decisions, contribute to technical and design-system direction, and collaborate closely across engineering and product teams.

We value engineers who care as much about usability, consistency, and visual quality as they do about clean code, reusable systems, and long-term maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Build and own reusable, modular UI components and contribute to a shared design system.
- Make UI/UX decisions independently when detailed design specs aren't available, ensuring consistency with existing patterns.
- Write clean, well-structured, testable, and documented code following engineering best practices.
- Work on complex UI workflows, state management, and performance optimization.
- Maintain, refactor, and improve existing frontend applications and legacy codebases.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and user-focused interfaces with strong attention to usability and visual consistency.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product owners, QA, DevOps, and (where applicable) designers.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, sprint planning, and technical decision-making.
- Implement frontend testing strategies using modern testing frameworks and tools.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, UX friction points, edge cases, and maintainability concerns proactively.

Required Skills

- Robust experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript




- Deep understanding of React Hooks and component architecture
- Experience building scalable frontend applications and reusable UI component systems
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive design
- Demonstrated ability to translate designs (Figma or similar) into pixel-accurate, production-ready UI — or to make sound UI decisions independently when specs are incomplete
- Experience with REST APIs and modern frontend frameworks/tools
- Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and debugging
- Experience with Cypress or Playwright for end-to-end testing
- Experience with Jest and frontend testing practices
- Strong understanding of code organization, maintainability, and clean coding practices
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows

Preferred Skills

- Experience owning or contributing to a design system / component library (Storybook, design tokens, etc.)
- Working fluency in Figma or similar design tools — able to collaborate directly with design or act as the design decision-maker when none is available
- Experience with Ag Grid or advanced data grid libraries
- Familiarity with the TanStack ecosystem
- Experience with Vite
- Experience with Formik, Final Form, or similar form libraries
- Awareness of accessibility (WCAG/ARIA) best practices
- Exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD workflows
- Experience working in Agile development environments
