Role Overview:

As a Senior PostgreSQL Database Developer based in Bangalore, you will serve as the technical authority for our core data platforms. You will work closely with application architects, data engineers, and product stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize robust database solutions that support high-concurrency environments. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our clients' data ecosystems are scalable, secure, and performant, directly influencing the reliability and speed of the applications that power their daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and implement complex database schemas to support evolving business requirements and ensure long-term data integrity.
- Execute advanced performance tuning and query optimization to reduce latency and improve throughput for mission-critical applications.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated stored procedures, triggers,



and functions to automate complex business logic within the database layer.
- Lead database migration and integration projects to ensure seamless transitions between legacy systems and modern PostgreSQL environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance on database best practices.
- Establish and enforce database security protocols and backup strategies to protect sensitive client information and ensure business continuity.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in PostgreSQL database architecture, including deep knowledge of indexing strategies, partitioning, and replication techniques.
- Proven ability to perform complex database tuning and capacity planning for high-traffic, large-scale production environments.
