We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer Plumbing to join our EPC project team at our Thermal Power Plant BOP (Balance of Plant) site at Tilda, Raipur. The candidate will be responsible for engineering, design coordination, and site execution of plumbing and public health engineering (PHE) systems, ensuring timely and quality delivery in line with project specifications and statutory codes.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and validate plumbing/PHE design drawings, GA layouts, and isometric drawings for BOP areas (administration buildings, control rooms, workshops, colony, etc.)

- Coordinate with design/engineering teams for water supply, drainage, sewage treatment (STP), effluent treatment (ETP), rainwater harvesting, and fire-fighting integration

- Prepare and verify BOQ, MTO (Material Take-Off), and technical specifications for plumbing packages

- Conduct site execution supervision, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, project schedule, and quality standards

- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal QA/QC teams for material approvals, inspections, and testing

- Carry out hydro testing, commissioning, and handover of plumbing systems

- Ensure compliance with NBC, IS codes, and other applicable statutory/regulatory requirements





- Liaise with client representatives and consultants for approvals and technical clarifications

- Monitor safety (HSE) compliance during installation and testing activities

- Support DPR (Detailed Project Report) tracking and progress reporting to project management

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of plumbing/PHE systems for industrial/power plant projects

- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plumbing / Revit MEP

- Sound understanding of pipe sizing, water supply networks, drainage systems, STP/ETP

- Experience in BOP packages within EPC/power sector projects

- Familiarity with site execution, testing & commissioning processes

- Valuable coordination and communication skills for multi-stakeholder site environments

- Working knowledge of relevant IS codes/NBC standards

- Willingness to relocate/work at Tilda, Raipur site

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in Thermal/Power Plant BOP projects is preferred if not experience in Residential/Commercial/Hospital projects can also be considered

- Exposure to large-scale EPC project execution

- Knowledge of fire-fighting system integration (added advantage)

- Candidates from Chhattisgarh/nearby regions or open to site-based roles preferred
