ob Role: Retail Sales Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispense prescription medicines accurately as per doctor's prescriptions.

- Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.

- Counsel patients on the proper use of medicines, dosage, side effects, and storage.

- Recommend suitable over-the-counter (OTC) medications for minor ailments.

- Maintain inventory of medicines and healthcare products.

- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions.

- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and licensing requirements.

- Handle billing, cash, POS/EDC transactions, and daily sales reconciliation.

- Coordinate with suppliers for procurement and replenishment of stock.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate pharmacy records.

- Resolve customer queries and provide high-quality customer service.

- Supervise pharmacy assistants and ensure smooth store operations.

Required Qualifications:





- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).

- Valid Pharmacist Registration Certificate from the State Pharmacy Council.

- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and applicable regulations.

- Basic computer and billing/POS system skills.

- Solid communication and customer service abilities.
