We are currently hiring for a Senior Manager - Quality - Engine Assembly for our PV facility at Sanand, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We are looking for experienced Quality Professionals with strong exposure to Engine Assembly, Engine Testing or Machining Manufacturing environments. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality across engine assembly lines, machining operations, customer quality concerns, process audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Engine Assembly Quality

- Drive quality assurance activities across engine assembly and testing lines.
- Monitor process adherence and ensure compliance to manufacturing standards.
- Improve FPY, FTR and RFT metrics.
- Conduct process, product and layered audits.

Machining Quality

- Ensure dimensional and geometric conformity of machined components.
- Drive quality control of cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, crankshafts and other critical engine parts.
- Perform root cause analysis for machining defects.
- Coordinate corrective actions with manufacturing teams.

Customer & Field Quality

- Investigate customer complaints and warranty failures.
- Lead structured problem-solving activities using 8D, 5 Why and Fishbone methodology.
- Drive field failure analysis and preventive actions.

New Product Development Support

- Support APQP, PPAP and new product launches.
- Participate in process validation and quality readiness reviews.




- Ensure PFMEA and Control Plan effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement

- Drive quality improvement projects.
- Implement Poka-Yoke and defect prevention activities.
- Improve process capability and reduce rejection levels.
