We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled OE Application Engineer to lead the development and industrialization of new tire for key OEM customers, from initial RFQ stage to final vehicle launch. This role is the critical technical interface between the customer's R&D;/Vehicle Development teams and our internal design, manufacturing and sales functions. The goal is to meet stringent OEM performance, quality and timeline requirements.

1. Project Leadership & RFQ Management

- Lead recent projects for current and future vehicle models, managing the project lifecycle from initiation to successful Start of Production (SOP).
- Coordinate new RFQ requests by analysing OEM specifications (e.g. RRC, Noise, R&H; requirements), conducting technical feasibility studies with internal stakeholders and R&D; and providing technical proposal and explanation to OEMs to win businesses.

2. Technical Application

- Act as primary technical interface between the OEM's Vehicle Development/R&D; teams and our internal Tire Development, Testing, and Manufacturing engineering teams.




- Assist in design activities and specification adjustments based on OEM feedback from track testing, ensuring the tire design is perfectly harmonized with the vehicle's characteristics.
- Understand and translate complex OEM requirements—such as specific vehicle dynamics targets, vehicle evaluation feedback and OEMs intention for next submission/specification.
- Manage technical issues related to tire performance and validation during the development phase. Coordinate rapidly with cross-functional teams (R&D;, Quality, Production) to implement solutions and ensure project continuity.

3. Relationship management & Communication

- Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with key technical decision-makers within OEM R&D; and Purchasing departments.
- Provide regular project status updates, potential risks and escalate issues with clear data to both OEM and internal management.
- Gather market and technical intelligence on future OEM vehicle strategies and emerging industry trends (e.g. EV requirements) to inform future product development needs.
- Ensure efficient project execution that adheres to internal processes and ultimately guarantees high stakeholder satisfaction.

4. Additional

- Knowledge of VDA standards quality management and auditing guidelines will be a significant advantage.

- BE Mechanical/Automobile or equivalent field preferred.

- Strong technical background in tire development, manufacturing and should have sound knowledge of vehicle dynamics. Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
