Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and execute Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC) transportation operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in ODC logistics, route surveys, trailer planning, vendor management, costing, rate negotiations, and end-to-end project execution across major Indian ports. We are looking for a candidate who has worked in the similar role for 8-10 years.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and execute ODC transportation projects across major ports in India.
- Handle movement of Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC) with complete operational responsibility.
- Possess strong knowledge of loaded and semi-loaded trailers, including selection, deployment, and costing.
- Conduct route surveys to assess feasibility, identify constraints, and ensure protected cargo movement.
- Manage vendor procurement, evaluate transport partners, and develop a reliable vendor network.
- Negotiate and finalize transportation rates, contracts, and commercial agreements with vendors.




- Prepare accurate transportation cost estimates and ensure cost optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and transportation permits.
- Monitor project timelines and resolve operational issues to ensure timely deliveries.

- Expertise in trailer selection, route survey, and logistics planning.
- Excellent vendor management and procurement skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in rate negotiation and contract finalisation.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Graduate with 8–10 years of experience in ODC/Project Cargo transportation.
- Proven experience in handling transportation across major Indian ports.
- Hands-on experience in vendor development, costing, and contract management.
- Strong operational and commercial knowledge of heavy haul logistics
