Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Lead Engineer with extensive expertise in Java/J2EE and cloud-native architecture to drive the development of our enterprise backend ecosystem. In this role, you will design, build, and scale high-performance microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while mentoring junior engineering talent. You will sit at the intersection of robust backend engineering, enterprise-grade cloud security (SSO/SAML), and automated DevSecOps pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Cloud-Native Development: Design and develop highly scalable microservices and APIs using the Spring Platform (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring MVC, and Spring JDBC).
- GCP Infrastructure Orchestration: Deploy and manage applications natively within GCP, leveraging Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Pub/Sub, Cloud Redis, and Cloud Scheduler.
- Enterprise Security & SSO Integration: Architect and enforce security protocols across cloud services, managing integrations with Enterprise SSO technologies including ADFS, SAML, and APIGEE API gateway management.
- DevOps & CI/CD Automation: Configure, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Tekton and enforce code quality standards via SonarQube.
- Database & System Design:



Utilize solid object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) patterns to interact with enterprise relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle) through optimized SQL data access layers.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a technical bridge, collaborating directly with Product Managers and Product Owners to translate complex functional requirements into production-ready software architectures.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack :

- Experience : 10 years in the IT industry with 8 years of core, hands-on software development experience. Proven capability in guiding and mentoring peer engineers.
- Core Language & Frameworks : Expert-level mastery of Java/J2EE, Core Java, and the Spring Ecosystem (Boot, Cloud, MVC).
- GCP Cloud Services : Mandatory hands-on experience with GCP serverless and container tools (Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, Redis).
- Security & API Management : Practical exposure to enterprise identity management (SAML, ADFS) and API gateways (APIGEE preferred).
- CI/CD Tooling : Solid understanding of pipeline-as-code concepts, specifically using Tekton or equivalent cloud-native CI/CD engines.
- Education : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
