- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in areas such as:
- Haematology
- Biochemistry
- Microbiology
- Immunology
- Clinical Pathology
- Ensure accurate sample collection, labelling, processing, and storage.
- Validate and review test results before submission.
Quality & Compliance
- Follow NABL, CAP, ISO, and internal laboratory quality standards.
- Maintain quality control records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and biomedical waste management protocols.
Equipment Management
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Monitor reagent inventory and consumables.
Team Supervision
- Guide and train junior lab technicians and phlebotomists.
- Monitor staff performance and workflow efficiency.
- Support scheduling and daily manpower management.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain laboratory registers, reports, and test records.
- Ensure proper LIS (Laboratory Information System) data entry.
- Assist during audits and inspections.
Coordination
- Coordinate with doctors, pathologists, nurses, and other departments for timely reporting.
- Handle critical value reporting as per protocol.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or relevant field.
- DMLT with significant experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 48 years of experience in diagnostic laboratories or hospitals.
- Experience in handling automated analysers and quality systems preferred.

- Knowledge of NABL/ISO quality standards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
